As a Game Programmer you should have a good and thorough understanding of the C++ programming language. He/she should have experience with the design, implementation and continuing support of software sub systems. Experience within the actual games industry and / or 1 or more released game titles is a bonus.

• Develop and improve game sub systems for one of our games
• Work collaboratively with the rest of our team to bring our games to life
• Design, develop, write, test and implement quality code and/or tools
• Share knowledge with our team
• Produce and maintain technical designs of the sub systems you create/improve.

 

Required technical skills and experience:

• Strong C++ experience
• Strong fundamentals in object oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms and data structures
• Experience working with larger code bases
• Computer Science Degree
• Focus on quality at all stages of development and operation
• Commitment to writing clear, well-tested, maintainable and extendable code
• Experience with optimizing performance and code
• Ability and passion for working in an agile multi-disciplinary team environment, a team player
• Excellent analytical skills
• Comfortably working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
